Who we are

A small Australian store, run by parents who got sick of buying things that didn't work.

Marlo Lane started the way most of these things do: a drawer full of teethers, wraps and gadgets that were supposed to fix something and didn't, and a growing suspicion that half of them were the same $2 item with a nicer photo.

So we set a rule. We don't sell a range. We sell one answer to one problem, and it has to earn its place before it goes up: does it fix the thing, would we strap it on our own baby, and would we be happy to see it on the floor of a mate's living room. Most things fail the first question.

We're starting with one product. There'll be more, one problem at a time, in plain English about what each thing does and doesn't do.

One problem, one product

Nothing goes up because it's on trend. It goes up because it fixes a specific thing you've probably already Googled at 2am.

Tried at home first

Every product gets used, washed and dropped in a real house before it's listed. If it wouldn't survive ours, it isn't here.

Free, tracked, Australia-wide

Every order, no minimum. You get a tracking number the moment it ships, not a shrug.

30 days to decide

If it doesn't earn its place in your house, one email and it's done. No forms, no restocking fee, no arguing.

How we choose

Every product here starts with a problem, not a category.

Not "baby essentials". The teether that's on the floor again. The sheet that's wet at 4am. The car seat that turns a ten-minute drive into a scream. We find the thing that actually fixes it, use it ourselves, and write the page straight about what it does and who it won't suit.

These are the problems we're working through, in the order parents keep asking about them.

Stop picking the teether up off the floor.

Teething Mitten

  • Straps to their hand, so it can't be dropped, thrown or lost.
  • Works from 3 months, long before they can hold a teether.
  • Food-grade silicone takes the chewing, not their raw knuckles.

What parents told us

I counted. Eleven times just getting to the car.

Eleven pick-ups between the front door and the car seat, and that was a good morning. First day with these on I got all the way to daycare and back without bending down once. It is not nothing when you're doing it forty times a day.

I was 100% certain this was another dropship scam

I reverse image searched the photos before I paid, because I've been burnt. Ordered Tuesday, arrived Thursday, in an actual box with a care card. The mittens are good. The not-lying is better.

With my first I picked it up off the floor. With my second I bought these.

With my first I spent a year bent over picking up teething rings in cafés and I genuinely thought that was just what having a baby was. Best thirty dollars of this baby so far. If you're on your second, you already know why this works.

The 30-day keep-it promise

Try it for 30 days. If it doesn't earn its place, it goes back.

You've bought enough things that didn't work. So the deal here is simple: use it for a month in your actual house, with your actual baby. If it isn't pulling its weight, send one email and we'll sort it. No forms, no restocking fee, no "have you tried".
